The Nature of Spring

I am thinking this morning of the simple spiritual things I experience in nature. The lower meadow needs mowing for the first time. The grasses have grown to several inches. It has been wet so it will have to wait. It seems that everything is late this year. I did trim some Wisteria vines and pulled some ambient seedlings from the various house gardens but it’s been too cold to plant new flower seedlings. Spring’s Spirituality

 I am thinking this morning of the simple spiritual things I experience in nature. The lower meadow needs mowing. The grasses have grown to twelve or more inches. It has been so wet that the last time I drove my mower tractor into the meadow I got stuck for two days. It will have to wait. Nature and Me

I am thinking this morning of the simple spiritual things I experienced yesterday. I mowed the lower meadow where the grasses had grown to twelve or more inches. I’d cut it once already this spring, but its growth exceeded my human schedule what with an abundance of gentle spring rains and warming sunlight.
