New York’s Broadway Nudes

New York City is having an issues with topless woman parading and fleecing tourists for tips at a Broadway pedestrian plaza. Anglo Saxton humanity has had an issue with public nudity for centuries. The “why” of that has any number of reasons from religion to social customs. Personally I don’t have a problem with folks who choose to be exhibitionists. A Child’s Wimper

I watched a toddler cry while in her Daddy’s arms on a New York City subway yesterday. The baby was maybe two years old. The parents were young, but loving to the child and tolerant to her reaction to harsh subway noises and the heat of a humid summer day. I also watched the other passengers on the subway car. They were of all races and nationalities, Black, Hispanic, Asian and White. The baby whimpered and then periodically whaled and each of us smiled. Each…

The Wrong Day

I happened to be in New York City yesterday and got caught in what is called a predicted gridlock. A cab ride, which I seldom do, to go on a straight line from 66th street to 42nd street took nearly an hour and cost $26.00. Why? The President was in town. I’m told. The solution is to keep the President out of town or take the subway.
