Dispassion prevails!

Now that poetry month is over, I will return to the foils of human thought and action.

I wrote about the idiot governor of Georgia the other day who signed into law a statue allowing guns in churches, bars, nightclubs and libraries.

Now I read that a bill is moving its way through the Louisiana legislature that would criminalize solicitation making it punishable by a fine and up to six months in jail.

If you are poor in Louisiana and ask for money you could go to jail.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US? WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE GRACE OF THE FOLKS IN THE SOUTH? HAVE WE FORGOTTEN WE ARE ALL ONE? HAS DISPASSION REPLACED COMPASSION?

Good grief…look within

  1. Just came across your site.. Glad to see you still doing so well. I remember the days as a kid when my parents would watch you and that wily Jim Jensen do the news on CBS2 in New York, as I would anxiously await the one and a half minutes of sports hihlights from Warner Wolf.. How times have changed!!
